Tastes like....

This is it. The winter is upon us. Saturdays farmers market was skinny with only a handful of vendors.
Buy me some:
milk
eggs
tuna
potatoes
pumpkin ( the sweet edible kind)

The tuna and pumpkin were enough for Chef to create an outstanding dinner for Saturday night.
On the menu:
Sesame Crusted Seared Tuna
Roasted Pumpkin

Pre Cooked. Look at this deliciousness.
The black sprinkles on top is sea salt from Hawaii. Surrounding the tuna are sesame seeds for the crust.

Chef then sliced the perfectly seared fish in measured pieces and served it with a soy ginger sauce. Sweet and salty.

With the tuna, a pumpkin like no other pumpkin I have ever had. Chef cut the pumpkin in half, seeded it, and roasted it and we each ate one half of the pumpkin from the shell. The smooth pumpkin filling was seasoned with a butter, brown sugar, and thyme sauce.

See how much fun my dinner was.
