It was a treat to welcome Elizabeth Victoria to our Sunday dinners. I enjoy the company of guests who can carry on conversations exceeding five words, delightful.
Here is what we ate this past Sunday;
Bok Choy sauteed in sesame oil
Roasted chicken ( from the green market) in a cajun spice rub that James made.
It was so moist and so delicious.
Potato gratin with poblano peppers. Sinful and spicy.
And of course no meal is complete without the homemade whole wheat bread and some farmers garlic butter.
Dinner was absolutely a mixing a flavors, Asian, Caribbean, Southwestern, and Local. They all blended together nicely.
Dessert was organic blueberries and blackberries ( courtesy of Brother) with whipped heavy cream.
Tomorrow morning James will take his turn working at the farm share stand. The farm that we buy shares in also sells produce to
Eleven Madison where we happened to have brunch over Memorial weekend. It was delicious, by the way.
