Summer Dinner

This was a great weekend for food.
From the CSA:
Turnips
Carrots
Mixed Greens
Bok Choy
Kale
Summer Squash
Daikon
From the Farmers Market:
Bread
Cherries
Rhubarb
Strawberries
Red Onion
Spring Garlic

So many great things to choose from. Chef didn't disappoint with dinner last night. In fact he really went all out.

To start we had a creamy and bold turnip soup .

Main Course:
Chicken breast stuffed with mushrooms and leeks
Sauteed summer squash

Dessert was the perfect finish.
Rhubarb Strawberry Crumble with mint
A scoop of vanilla ice cream

The perfect summer meal. Yup even the soup.
